Group Chief Finance Officer

Rianat Hassan is a Chartered Accountant with over 12 years of experience in financial governance, treasury management and corporate control within energy, trading and regulated commercial environments.

Her career prior to Matrix included senior finance roles supporting energy trading and oil and gas-related businesses, strengthening her experience in treasury operations, working-capital management, audit readiness and statutory reporting.

At Matrix Energy Group, she leads budgeting, funding strategy, treasury operations, trade finance, statutory and management reporting, tax compliance and internal financial controls. She works closely with executive and upstream management to align capital planning and funding requirements with drilling, facilities development and other capital-intensive asset programmes, while maintaining strong governance, transparency and audit readiness.
