Igbomotoru Field is located in the coastal swamps of the Niger Delta Basin, within OML 33.
Under the operatorship of BAP Energy Limited (BAP), the asset has progressed through the dredging, re-entry, completion and testing of Igbomotoru-2. The field is currently undergoing well-test production, while further drilling is being planned to increase production to approximately 8,000 bopd.
Igbomotoru provides Matrix E&P with an established production base and near-term growth opportunity within its Niger Delta portfolio.
