Oluwatomilola Omotayo is an oil and gas legal, commercial and compliance executive with over 20 years of professional experience, including more than 16 years in the energy sector.

She holds an LL.B from the University of Ibadan, a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.M. Her experience covers upstream transactions, petroleum contracts, asset acquisitions and divestments, hydrocarbon commercialisation, corporate governance and Petroleum Industry Act compliance. Prior to joining Matrix, she held senior roles within Niger Delta Exploration & Production Plc, now Aradel Holdings.

At Matrix, she leads legal and compliance matters supporting upstream transactions, regulatory engagement, contracting, procurement governance and risk management. Her experience includes transaction structuring, joint operating arrangements, farm-in processes, gas and crude commercial agreements and financing-related legal support.
