Asset Manager & Head, Subsurface

Ibrahim Adesokan is a senior geoscience and asset-development professional with over 17 years of upstream experience across international oil companies, indigenous operators, marginal field developers and frontier exploration environments.

He holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Ibadan and an MSc in Applied Geophysics from the University of Lagos and is a member of NAPE and AAPG. His experience includes senior subsurface roles with Sahara Group (Asharami Energy), SAPETRO, Belema Oil Producing and Dharmattan Nigeria Limited, with exposure across the Niger Delta and other African basins.

His technical experience covers reservoir studies, static modelling, prospect evaluation, reserves estimation and field development planning. At Matrix E&P, he leads subsurface governance, asset maturation and technical assurance across the portfolio, supporting well planning, drilling, facilities development and regulatory submissions.
