Chairman & Group Chief Executive Officer

Abdulkabir Adisa Aliu is the Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of Matrix Energy Group and a founding member of the organization, with over 28 years of professional experience spanning engineering, energy, trading, finance and logistics. He provides strategic leadership, capital allocation oversight and long-term direction across the Group.

He is a graduate of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE). Prior to founding Matrix Energy Group in 2004, he gained professional experience with ExxonMobil, Saipem Drilling and Offshore, UBA and Access Bank, building a strong foundation in energy operations, project execution, financing and governance.

Under his leadership, Matrix has grown into a diversified energy business with interests across petroleum marketing, terminals, gas, logistics and upstream exploration and production. He also serves as a member of the Presidential Economic Coordination Council, contributing private-sector perspectives to national economic and energy discussions.
